During the off-season from competitions and exhibitions, Drip 51 Dance Team commits to weekly rehearsals aimed at producing captivating dance concept videos. These videos are not just showcases of our technical prowess but also reflections of our creativity and dedication to pushing artistic boundaries. Each rehearsal session is an opportunity for our dancers to refine their skills, explore innovative choreography, and perfect their performances to deliver impactful visual narratives. By consistently creating high-quality dance concept videos, we aim to inspire, entertain, and leave a lasting impression on audiences worldwide, solidifying our presence as trailblazers in the dance industry.

Meet the Creative Director: Liza Haldo

Liza is a professional dancer and choreographer originally from Belarus. Before moving to San Diego Liza professionally danced ballroom for 10 years and then got a bachelor's degree in choreography, where she studied styles such as jazz, ballet, and contemporary for 4 years. She participated in international hip-hop masterclasses and camps.

Currently, Liza is a teacher at Drip Creative Studio and a member of the Culture Shock San Diego troupe. She is also the founder of her own high-heels dance team [link]. Liza’s dance philosophy is to show that there is so much more behind the high-heels style.

Meet Miguel - Assistant Director

Miguel Galvan is a San Diego native who started dancing 15 years ago with contemporary, modern and jazz . He spent his high school years primarily breakdancing before breaking into choreography in college. While studying at UCSD Miguel danced at Studio FX, Culture shock and UCSD on numerous teams and projects before getting signed with Bloc talent agency in 2018. Miguel has since stepped away from performing and the industry to focus on creating and teaching at Drip creative studio.

  • Payment Options:

    Membership: $170/month Take unlimited classes a month + Company dues + discounts

    Only Company: $80/month (4 rehearsals)

    College Student Membership: $145/month (Unlimited classes + Company dues + discounts)

    Company rehearsals only: $70

    This will give you unlimited dance classes and 15% off masterclasses and pop ups. This does not include costuming.

  • Weekly rehearsals on Thursdays at 8:30pm-10:30pm. All members will be required to take one class a week.

    Every last Saturday of the month will be filming day for visuals.

    You will be required to commit to at least 3 months. Season starts in September and ends in November.

    2025 Season: During Competition/Exhibition Prep Season (January- June) rehearsals may increase to twice a week. Members of the team may stay on for the new year but time commitment increases to 6 months.

  • Please register for Auditions by August 15th. Registration fee is $25. Please arrive in all black with sneakers and bring heels in case the director would like to see you in both styles.

  • We will focus on industry styles such as choreography, Hip Hop, AfroBeats, jazz funk, heels and more.
