Project Solace
where your movement becomes the language of healing, connection, and exploration.
Project Solace is a dance team, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance and movement exploration. The name "Solace" embodies the team's commitment to creating a space of refuge and emotional release through the art of dance. Each performance is a journey of self-discovery and vulnerability, where movement becomes a language of healing, connection, and expression.
With a focus on breaking traditional norms and embracing fluidity, Project Solace invites audiences into a world where the body tells stories of resilience, introspection, and the raw beauty of human experience.
At the heart of Project Solace is the belief that dance has the power to offer comfort and understanding in a world often filled with chaos. It is not just about the steps—it is about creating a moment of peace, a brief respite where both dancers and audiences alike can find solace in the artistry that unfolds before them.

Miguel Galvan- Director
Miguel Galvan is a San Diego native who started dancing 15 years ago with contemporary, modern and jazz . He spent his high school years primarily breakdancing before breaking into choreography in college. While studying at UCSD Miguel danced at Studio FX, Culture shock and UCSD on numerous teams and projects before getting signed with Bloc talent agency in 2018. Miguel has since stepped away from performing and the industry to focus on creating and teaching at Drip creative studio.
Ashlynn Hultman - Assistant Director
Ashlynn is a technically trained dancer of 17 years, originally from Sacramento. She grew up in the dance studio learning a wide variety of styles including some of her favorites being contemporary, hip hop, and jazz. The majority of Ashlynn’s years in dance were spent on competitive teams where she underwent extensive training. During high school, she channeled her passion for dance into choreography, creating routines for her school’s dance shows. Her love for choreography extended beyond graduation, as she continued to teach in the years that followed. After taking some time away from dance, Ashlynn rediscovered her love for movement through Drip Creative Studio. She is excited to share a role in creating while also continuing to grow in weekly classes.
“Choreography is an expression of a story and I love portraying that storyline through breath and movement.”
